"Are you wearing contatcts?"
"What? That's your question?"
"Yes."
"No, I'm not. Why?"
"I've just never seen eyes as green as yours. I thought maybe they were colored contatcts."
Bu kitap da nisan ayı arasında okuyacaklarımdandı ama nedense bir türlü başına oturamadım. Bir aydır sırasını bekliyordu. Geçenlerde bir yorumunu okudum ve o şevkle ara ara iki günde bitirdim. Tahminimden çok daha güzel bir kitap çıktı. Yazarın değişik samimi bir kalemi vardı. Özellikle Caymen'i çok sevdim. Karakterlerini sevdiğim kitapları ayrı içime çekiyorum. Caymen çok mantıklı ve azla yetinen tatlı bir karakterdi. Biraz fazla sevmiş olabilirim kendisini. Hatta Caymen'in başına üzücü bir olay geldiğinde benim de suratım domatese döndü. Konu itibariyle de farklı olduğu için tahminimden daha çok beğendim. Tabii Xander'a da ayrı bayıldım. Böyle mütevazi erkek karakterleri okumayı çok seviyorum.

"I haven't seen you in seventeen years either."

İngilizcesi başta biraz değişikti. Bazen olaylara adapte olmakta zorlandım ama o da kısa sürdü. Özellikle Caymen ve Xander arasında günden güne katlanan bağı okumak hoşuma gitti. Böyle tatlı kitapları okumayı çok seviyorum. Beni başka alemlere götürüyor. Suratımda saf saf sırıtıp okudum tüm kitabı. Özellikle sonlarına doğru beni biraz fazla şaşırtıp daha da güzelleşti. O yüzden sade anlatımı, arada beni güldüren esprileri ve Caymen ve Xander arasında filizlenen aşkı okurken eğlendiğim bir kitaptı. Bir de konu az çok klişe olsa da yazarın bunu bastırara bastırara gözümüze sokmaması ve her türlü kitabı sıyırabilmesi de ayrı hoşuma gitti. Bu yüzden bu sıcacık kitabı okumanızı kesinlikle öneririm. Okurken çok hoş vakit geçirdim. İngilizcesi de kolaydı. Okuyabilirseniz öneririm :) Yazarın The Fill-In Boyfriend ve On the Fence kitaplarını da yakın zamanda okuyacağım çünkü kalemi çok güzeldi.

"Don't push me."
"I love you, too," he says. He puts his cheek against mine. "So much."

"Now that my future is hotels, is that really a good idea?" I can feel his smile against my cheek.
"Don't worry, you can cover your eyes. I won't make fun of you... too much."
